With a majority of your work being done on the east coast (the US hub of the financial industry) this role will require up to 75% travel across the US as you visit and work on client site with the balance of your time spent working remotely from your home office. By joining our Technical Consulting team as a full-time senior consultant you will be playing an important role in designing, developing and integrating solutions that will manage, run, secure and monitor our clients business interactions including, but not limited to, emails, files, messages, services, events and processes. With a majority of your time will be spent working on-site as a member of, or technical leader within, a project team for one of our many clients in the Financial Services industry. Essential to you hitting the ground running will be your hands-on experience with mainframe environments using MVS OS and JCL`s. Previous success working within the SDLC methodology you will find this to be a role not bringing about redundancy, instead you will work on a variety of complex B2B solutions in enterprise level systems integration (e.g., EAI, middleware etc.), business intelligence, systems development just to name a few. Expertise in UNIX, LINUX and Windows platform will be required along with proven database proficiency with DB2, Oracle, SQL and/or Sybase. Utilizing your polished professionalism and ability to interact on a deep technical level with internal Axway team members and client company team members you will adapt with the processes and procedures of both organizations involved being mindful of what is best for both.
